USA SUP sanctioned race on the Parker Strip — the slow flatwater stretch of the Colorado River between Parker Dam (upstream) and Headgate Rock Dam (downstream). Race-day put-in and finish line at the BlueWater Resort & Casino beach in Parker, AZ. Cold dam-released water (~55°F year-round). Boat traffic on the Strip — typically light at race start, heavier midday. Travel race for the academy team — 3-hour drive from Phoenix; most family rigs head out Friday afternoon, race Saturday morning, home Saturday evening. We do not book lodging — BlueWater rooms go fast for race weekend; book a month out.
